Firestone Complete Auto Care in Austin, Texas - Services not rendered
I initially went into the location with an AC concern(blowing hot air).I recieved a AC diagnosis inwhich i paid for and at the time the results were that the veh needed a highside service port core.This was the result after just using free-on as a way to test for leaks.3 weeks later the veh is back in the shop with the same problem and this time they used free-on and Dye to test for leaks and found a leak on the discharge line of the service port core.When i asked why didnt they use that test the first time,the store manager responded with "we did use dye,just at the end of the process the first time you brought your veh".Im not a mechanic by any means but i believe you use Dye in the beginning.Also this leak they speak of was diagnosed in 2012 by Mazda,Firestone said on the intial visit they did not find this leak.I believe within 2 years this leak would be more apparent especially after the manager acknowledged when they were checking the veh the first time there was a huge spill in the fluids and they didnt check any further because the AC was already blowing cold air.But that was because they added freeon.i would like someone to contact me about this.Police report on file because the Manager refused to answer our questions and told us to leave and we did not because we were still trying to trouble shoot the process they went through for diagnosis.

Firestone Complete Auto Care in Urbandale, Iowa - Charged for Misalignment
The alignment on our vehicle was fine. We took our truck to the Firestone we visit routinely for other fixes and will NEVER go back there again. We needed the rack and pinion fixed on our truck. As part of this maintenance an alignment is needed, we paid for an alignment only to hop into the vehicle and find that our truck is now VERY misaligned - the steering wheel is VERTICAL!! When we brought it back to the shop first thing the following morning, the manager (Mike) proceeded to inform us they would not fix it until we bought new tires from them. The tires are the same tires that were on it when it was FINE prior to the repairs!! Urbandale, Iowa - Manager Mike - I now wonder how/if they truly do the other routine minor repairs we've paid for?!

Firestone Complete Auto Care in Beaufort, South Carolina - Okatie Firestone damaged my car and refuses to take responsiblilty
I took my car to Okatie Firestone where they damaged my hood. They refuse to pay for the repairs and John R. (manager) was condescending and rude when I complained about the issue. The hood had two identical dents opposite of where the hood supports are. They were obviously caused while opening and closing the hood somehow. I did not see it happen so I don't know exactly how the damage occurred. All that I know for sure is that the damage wasn't there before bringing it to Okatie Firestone and was damaged when the car was returned. All I want is for Okatie Firestone in Beaufort to take responsibility for something that obviously happened on their watch.

It seems with this company that dollars in the till will forgive you of anything at least let the bosses pretend it doesn't really happen, is it really any different from any other place? But I know at Starbucks that its my fault for paying 10 dollars for coffee, at jcpenny I can always look under the sticker, but with my 'nieghborhood' mechanic I would like to feel I can trust his judgement, where does the dollar and common sense, human decency, line blur. Gmail parts for my truck, great, they built it, autozone parts at the same price, think next time I'm going to send my "negro" brother in law in first and see if he gets it better

Firestone Complete Auto Care in Rocklin, California - Tire Price Bait and Switch
I received an online quote "out-the-door" price of $320 for 4 tires at the Roseville, CA Firestone location. The quote included my zip code so that (in the words of the company) the quote would reflect total price, including taxes and fees. When I got there, the price was $380. I received no help form the manager even when I showed him my printed quote in hand. I went there because their total price was the lowest in town. But, they weren't even competitive after the 20% bump up. I left and went to Les Schwab, their quote was exactly what I paid. Never again, Firestone!

I am from the corporate office of Firestone Complete Auto Care and would like to help.
Generally, our stores do not carry the Michelin brand. So when we have customers who would like to purchase Michelins, we need to purchase them from a distributor. What this means is that we do not get the same dealer pricing that allows the retailer to make their usual profit on the tire sale.
Without knowing the specifics of your situation, I would assume that the store sold you the Michelin at or below the cost that they paid for the tire in order to earn your business.
While the price seemed out of line, it was likely the best the store could do since they do not carry Michelin tires.

Firestone Complete Auto Care in Winston Salem, North Carolina - Overcharging
Lexington, NC residents beware of Firestone Complete Auto Care! I recently discovered that this company charges customers about 300% above retail cost for parts they service your vehicle with and then add large hourly fees for installing them! There are several other auto service businesses in the area that will give you a better deal and stand behind their work. Be careful about falling into a trap of thinking Firestone is the best just because of there national name. Firestone will also attempt to pressure you into purchasing services that you don't need. I have personally been a victim of this practice at the hands of the Lexington, NC Firestone store manager. Check all your reciepts and don't hesitate to question everything they do if you should choose them to service your vehicle.

I am not an employee of firestone but have seen first hand the ignorance displayed by management (Larry Griffin) of the american way location in memphis tn. and hope that jeff masse doesnt ignore this complaint as he seems to ignore the tecnicians that make the money he has no trouble spending. On many accounts mr. Griffin has sat in the bathroom toying around like a 5 yr old for 45 minutes or more at a time 5 or more times a day. He has allowed his girlfriend, which i am sure his wife is unaware of to sit around where the technicians are working so as to annoy them with her presence. I also heard him admit first hand to setting a fire in the shop where the tech.s work because he likes to leave his cigarettes on the counter burning (there are burn marks on the counter to provide proof) he also exudes sheer laziness by pawning his work off on the technicians so he can spend his time playing on his phone. another situation is the manager allowing techs to work using faulty equipment which will surely eventually result in injury!These are just the tip of the iceburg and i hope firestone management looks for better representation that what they are displaying as of the present time. To customers of firestone, you would do better asking what you need of the technicians themselves as management has issues doing their job =) congratulations firestone on a job mediocrely done!

Firestone Complete Auto Care in Houston, Texas - Liars.....
I was an employee at the Galveston Texas Firestone while there I saw things that repulse me, the manager an *** named Tony Saltz steals from people the company and his employees, he drinks and pops pills on the job he lies to customers he is a despicable human being he's *** and they just turn the other way. He lied on me and about me but that's just the tip of the *** iceberg! He actually drinks a six pack of beer every day at the store in the *** store! He is rude to people especially younger people and he thinks he's untouchable. I will let the whole *** world know what *** he is and just how pathetic Firestone is for letting this go on.

Well, I was offered half of the cost of damages to my hood by the manager that was rude to me. I could tell that he realized that his initial behavior was uncalled for.
He did apologize, but I didn't accept the money. Why should I have to pay half of the damages done by them? Anyway, I called the corporate claims dept.
and they eventually paid for the damages in full. I'm glad it was resolved, but it definitely no thanks to the rude manager of the Okatie Firestone.
