Joel & Cheryl were extremely cheerful and friendly. Especially Cheryl, she had such a great attitude! I had a low tire on my rental car and was going to be late for work, I was in a total panic. She took me to work and had the car dropped off at my work. I was leaving that night to drive 700 mikes to a family funeral. I am grateful for such wonderful service in such a stressful time . They are definitely my go to for all things mechanical. I also would like to recognize the manager there. It is obvious that the staff takes his direction in making the customer feel taken care of.

Firestone ripped off my wife and daughter both in period of 8 months. the manager of the store told me if they are over 18 and not 'handycapped' they should be smart enough to be able to say no to their sales pitches...they prey on women by selling them services not needed such as rebalancing tires and other phony labor scams. this store is on everhard road in canton ohio store number 8230....stay away and tell your friends women be aware

Firestone Complete Auto Care in Brockport, New York - No LEAD Techs

Details
That place in Brockport, NY have ZERO lead techs, nor any of those has ASE certified. I would NOT take my car to that business where their techs is only 1 year experience or less. Even their 350lbs manager who kept sitting his *** and being not nice, and yelling at techs to do the dirty work or try find a way to make $$$ even it doesnt need to be fixed. Take your business at anywhere, not this one. I know this because I USED to work for that place. I won't even take my car there for service at all.

Also BEWARE of that place when ur taking car there during real slow day. They will find a way to make sales by altering work order, such as tire depth, brake pads depth.

Also for Safety Inspection, they CANT fail you if your brake pads is at 1/32". It has to be metal to metal.

They will try to convince you. Take your vehicle to Monro, they are guaranteed to beat their price.

Firestone location in Myrtle Beach told me that the lug on the rear left wheel broke as the lug nut was being removed. In my 71 years I have seen broken lugs. This happened when the lugs nuts were over torqued, not when they were being removed. The manager blamed it...

Firestone Complete Auto Care in Fort Huachuca, Arizona - Careless and negligent.

Took my truck in to get the brakes checked at the Firestone at Fort Rucker, Alabama. Upon "inspection," they said they were fine. Brought my truck in the day for ball joints after only for them to tell me I needed my brakes and rotors replaced immediately. Upon proving to them they obviously did not inspect them like I paid for, they made it right and paid for the labor. Strike #2 however, was when I brought my fiance's car in to have a tie rod replaced. Walst driving down the road, loud, sharp noises began at the right front tire (where the tie rod was replaced) followed by the sound of something obviously comming loose from the vehicle. I stopped the car and found a tie rod socket was left on the vehicle (not to mention the other tools the mechanic left in the front seat). Upon continuing down the road more rattling noises now followed the tool comming loose from the vehicle from the front right. As a former aircraft mechanic, leaving tools is the #1 biggest "no-no." Despite endangering my family twice (shame of me for fooling me twice), the manager offered to comp the tie rod labor "only if damage was incurred" after he inspected it.

I took my 05 Tacoma in to have the Brakes inspected, upon leaving they informed me that I had to replace the Drums, shoes and wheel cylinder and also have my brakes bleed total cost for that would be 610.00!! ouch I'm a single mother there is no way I can afford this :(.. My father being a certified mechanic informed me to go ahead and buy all the parts from my local shop and he would find the time to replace them. Upon my fathers inspection to his surprise my truck DID NOT NEED NEW SHOES OR DRUM OR a WHEEL CYLINDER but they would need to be cleaned and drum shaved and to add brake fluid. THIS SADDENS ME THAT THEY WOULD TRY IN *** A SINGLE MOTHER :( WHAT MAKES IT WORSE IS I NOW THE MANAGER:(. NEVER AGAIN.

I've seen them both stay late... transport customers in time of need to their homes or places of work... lately it seems the store manager Dave has lost interest in his customers but still over all when I make an appointment with either of them I know they are going to take care of me...
