Customer service, lack thereof ‼

Rocky Mount, North Carolina store. I've been a customer at this store the 16 years.

Since the retirement of the store manager Greg that customer service has just been terrible.
They have very talented technicians who can do the job right the first time.
But since the retirement of Greg this store and it's management of has gone consistently downhill.
On Sunday March 2nd I attempted to be at the store for its 8:00 opening in an attempt to get my car serviced. I waited for an employee to open the store until 8:15 when the employee arrived who appeared to just get out of bed. I spoke with him in an attempt to get a service and he said it would be impossible as they were already appointments made. The service writer had not even opened the computer yet took my information and scheduled an appointment for March 5th at 7:30.
I made arrangements for a ride and to drop my vehicle off which I did at 7:15 filling out it tag with instructions as to what needed to be done and when I needed the car finished by.

What a shock, to arrive at 11:00 a.m. and find my car had not even been touched or moved. I spoke to the service writer you said he looked at my tag and assumed he had all day to work on the car. This service writer is the reason that the minimum wage in North Carolina $7.25 an hour, if they paid him what it was worth it would be less than that.

I took my key and left.
The bottom line is there are many Firestone stores in the Nash County Wilson County Wake County area to get your car serviced.

This particular Firestone store has just gone significantly downhill since the retirement of Greg the store manager. I myself will be moving to another Firestone location, and we'll give the new Wilson store at the intersection of Raleigh parkway and airport road a chance to earn my business.

Firestone on Abacorn needs to look up the defintion of "Customer Service" as they have no idea what it is.

Communication is the key to any good relationship, they have no clue. If I were going to reschedule someone I would think a phone call would be a better means of communication instead of assuming they would read an email. Again, customer service is for the consumer not the business.

Dissatisfied consumer

I scheduled an online appointment on Monday for a 8:00 am appointment Friday morning. The front brake pads needed replacement and I needed the car back by 2:00 pm.

The representative assured me the car would be ready. When I showed up at 2:00, my car appeared to be in the same parking spot I had left it. My wife dropped me off and I was excited my car was ready. I went inside, ready to pay, when the Rep said they were just about to pull my car in.

I was pissed.

I asked for my key and the Rep handed it over. Poor customer service.

No follow-up by managerial staff as expected

I received an email from Bridgestone Care that I was going to receive a call from their regional manager for the area. I have since sent two emails to notify that I have not received any contact from a manager nor have I received any follow-up to my complaint that was filled. I assume they feel that with enough time that passes, the matter will go away.
Goes to show why the customer service is so poor, if the management does not follow-up on poor performing locations within their regions, I have to conclude that it is a managerial issue trickling down.
Still not a happy customer of FireStone.

It was with the bank that finances the Firestone credit card. They could not activate the card because my birth date did not correspond with the one that had on file. I would need to write a formal letter stating my birthday after being a customer since 1988. The credit card is in my name and I was talking to them on the phone. I am very upset since all I wanted to do was activate my new credit card, thanks.
