Hello,

My name is Tom and I am from the Firestone Complete Auto Care Corporate Offices. I have read through your experience and would like to apologize for this unfortunate circumstance.

When investigating stripped drain plug or oil pan issues most technicians will confirm that the damage is caused when the drain plug is installed incorrectly or crossthreaded, not when it is removed. Therefore, the issue is would not to be addressed by the location that performed your previous oil change. We can also get our damage claims department involved if their is any speculation on when the damage occurred. However, it would appear the repairs have already been made.

I would still be happy to get your concerns to management in your area for further investigation. Please message me at social@bfrc.com with your review posted here and the invoice number from service at your earliest convenience.

Tires installed incorrectly, damaged wheels, and left car filthy | Firestone Complete Auto Care review from Joliet, Illinois

Went in to Firestone Auto Care in Joliet, IL to have my snow tires installed. When I got the car back the wheels were filthy, completely covered with whatever white substance they use to mount the tires. All 4 wheels were also damaged badly (scratches, scuffs and gouges) and they installed one of the directional tires backwards. I also asked them to please take care with the interior which is a very light colored leather. There was black grease on the inside of the drivers door and they put the tires (in plastic bags) in the back seat but somehow managed to get the seats stained in several places with the same black greasy substance. Needless to say I wont be going back and if keeping your car looking nice is important to you, I would not recommend you use this retailer.

Firestone Complete Auto Care - Radiator Flush Review from Mishawaka, Indiana

I took my 2007 Pontiac Grand prix in to get a radiator flush this afternoon, they told me the car was blowing hot air and the coil was fine, got out of there and heat wasn't working. Got home and opened my passenger door and it wouldn't hardly open. Looked at the bottom where they put it on the racks and bottom of fender was bent all to ***. Totally posed me off the *** never said anything about it. I will never go there again after they fix my car

Careless and negligent. | Firestone Complete Auto Care review from Fort Huachuca, Arizona

Took my truck in to get the brakes checked at the Firestone at Fort Rucker, Alabama. Upon "inspection," they said they were fine. Brought my truck in the day for ball joints after only for them to tell me I needed my brakes and rotors replaced immediately. Upon proving to them they obviously did not inspect them like I paid for, they made it right and paid for the labor. Strike #2 however, was when I brought my fiance's car in to have a tie rod replaced. Walst driving down the road, loud, sharp noises began at the right front tire (where the tie rod was replaced) followed by the sound of something obviously comming loose from the vehicle. I stopped the car and found a tie rod socket was left on the vehicle (not to mention the other tools the mechanic left in the front seat). Upon continuing down the road more rattling noises now followed the tool comming loose from the vehicle from the front right. As a former aircraft mechanic, leaving tools is the #1 biggest "no-no." Despite endangering my family twice (shame of me for fooling me twice), the manager offered to comp the tie rod labor "only if damage was incurred" after he inspected it.

Poor service at Firestone | Firestone Complete Auto Care review

I took my 08 Chevy Cobalt to Firestone this week to get 2 tires replaced on front. I also had a frontend alignment done. The mechanic performed a courtesy inspection and wrote that my car has (1) dirty air filter (2) fuel system needs cleaning (3) brake fluid needs exchanging and needs frontend alignment. The car has 59K miles on it. The only one I had performed is the frontend alignment. On my way home the engine light came on and the on board tire monitor says both left side tires read 32 psi and right side tires read 27 psi. After I got home I hooked up my scan tool and has 2 codes 0f PO411. That code means ( secondary air injection system incorrect flow ). Since then, I replaced the air filter. After driving the car the light came back on. I took it back to Firestone and the salesman told me that if they look at it, it would cost money to hook it up to a scan tool. I was told to drive the car and see if the light comes back on since I cleared the codes. Light came back on! Besides all of this, When I picked up my car after my visit, the driver's door armrest had a black smudge mark on the tan colored fabric.

Firestone Complete Auto Care - Oil Change Review from Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Brought my car in for an oil change and even brought it back a second time because the engine just wasnt running as smoothly as before. Was told by david that the car seemed fine to him, without even opening the hood. Finally opened the hood myself to find the coolant fluid tank bone dry !!! Apparently they were too busy recommending a thousand dollars worth of repairs to notice this small detail . WORTHLESS
