I was scheduled to have 4 tires replace. The morning before I checked in the trunk compartment to make sure the key lock for the tires were there. While at firestone the next morning for the tire replacement the tech comes out and says they cant find the key lock it was missing. The actually took me and my wife to go in the bay where the repair was being done to search for the key lock. It was gone...They said not to worry the can break the lugs... Read more

I went to Firestone on 852 Savannah Hwy, Charleston, SC 29407 on July 18, 2016. I went in to get my tired repaired. After about 5 minutes of my car being on the lift, the customer service rep. came out and said, "your tire is non-repairable and you need to replace the tire". I had a lock cylinder and housing replaced there and was charged $550 for the part alone. I looked online and found one for $112 which is about five times the price they charged me. The sales rep said that they install manufacturer approved parts only. The part I saw online was an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) made by Genuine Auto Parts. My ML320 blowing very warm Air. They said it's only need Freon charged. I send it back because it's still blowing warm air. They again checked and told me that I need my compressor replaced, Evaporator expansion valve replaced. I told them I need the old compressor and the expansion valve back and I was told it's not company's policy. They installed new one's according to them with the priced of $1,077.00. I asked what was included in the lifetime service I have , he said "alignment and rotation," I answered I want "that service" today; plus oil change. I asked. Worst customer service I have dealt with in the auto service industry ever. Every attempt to get service done is met with one of the people on duty telling you how busy they are, and that it will most likely be two days before they can get the car back to you. We took our 05 malibu maxx to the oakville. Mo. Firestone to have our master cylinder replaced. Soon after leaving we stopped at an intersection when the traction control warning light came on and the display screen read "reduced engine power". The engine was at 600rpm and would not accelarate any higher. We immediatly called the Firestone they had us turn off the engine to reset the computer and bring the car in. This is the second complaint i have put in , i have been getting the run around.I currently had tires installed and i was upset in the store being told i needed exta things, i was also told to mount and balance was free as well as an alignment check,she had stated i needed alignment i asked the price was ok with it being that im having 4 tires installed .
