I recently went in for a oil change. while they pulled my truck in, I over heard on salesman talk to a mechanic saying "oh you just don't know how to sell" that brought up a red flag right off the bat. I windshield wiper solution was not pumping up from the holding tank and asked them what it would cost to repair that. Manager stated, oh we will need to remove the fender to trace the lines and he said that will run about 160.00. I also asked how much it would cost to replace both the belts on the motor. 170.98. that's some really... Read more

I took my truck to firestone repair center for tie rod end replacement and alignment. After inspecting vehicle, they called and quoted me $369.00 for the work. I agreed to the price. When I arrived to pick vehicle up after the work was complete, the presented me with a bill for $468.00. They jacked for a hundred additional bucks without notifying me. No additional work over what was quoted was performed. I have never had any repair shop do this to me and I consider it absolutely unethical. I will never spend another dime with firestone. This is a follow-up to a complaint I had about being erroneously told that my battery was bad. I bought a new one and then found out the old one was fine and still had time on the warranty. I asked the Firestone store on South Clack in Abilene, Texas, to pay for the new battery. The manager refused and was very abusive, but he gave me the number of the district manager. The district manager said he would tell them to pay me. They did, and the manager wasn't there. It appears he was fired. There was a sign on the door that said they were... Read more

Took Car to get some bulbs replaced inside of my instrumental clusters and then my speedometer and fuel gauge stopped working. It took over 15 days to get this matter resolved. I had to physically take a day off of work to get my car fix myself. Another specialist had to get my fuel gauge working back correctly as it was when I original dropped of my car. Then installed a new muffler on my car but didn't placed a gasket on car when installing the muffler. So, I had pay extra for the placing gasket on car. My car was running very loud when I... Took my car to Firestone in Douglasville Nov. 2015. Worked with a young lady who was not honest or truthful. When talking to management regarding this young lady's work and dishonesty I was treated coldly. However they did try to make some amends. I use to trust them, but now after 8 years I have lost my confidence in them.Today looking back on old paper work I noticed that my name had been forged only the ones with her name (D.)on them. People please check your paperwork before leaving the shop and even after leaving the shop. Read more

I WAS a long time customer of Firestone. Was getting worse each visit. This was the last straw. Made an appointment for 11am to have 4 new tires put on. Was told at that time it would take an 1 1/2. Arrived a little early and checked in at the counter. Was ask if I was waiting or dropping off. I said waiting. The person behind the desk made a face and told me it would be at least 3 to 4 hours. The smart *** employee next to him laughed and said maybe we can get two tires done in an hour. I said I made an appointment to avoid this. He told me... Read more

I had my front disc rotors, brake pads replaced on my 2006 BMW on 2/28/16 by Firestone Complete Auto Care in Mall Ring Henderson. They used Duralast brake pads and rotors and charged me $452. I noticed a grinding sound like my brake pads where thinned out even if they were new. They asked me to drive the car for 100 miles to even out the new rotors and disc pads. I came back last week with the same problem after driving 2,000 miles with the same problem. They inspected my brakes and told me that they will replace my front disc pads with... Read more

Firestone had been my company preference where my tire needs were concerned. In fact I can't remember buying tires from anyone else. Although I paid a higher price it was always offset by good service. The Firestone Service Center at 2704 Flower Mound Rd in Flower Mound, Texas (Managing Partner Jeff Hunter) recently installed two new front tires for me. Before leaving they informed me my tire pressure sensor wasn't functioning but should work itself out within 24 hours. This seemed to be accurate as the sensor came on later that evening.... No. Smithfield, RI store confirmed appointment for rear drum brakes replacement and promised work to be done in 1 hour. Work was completed in 3 hours...excessive wait time complaint. Mgr offered lame excuse..."you know how these things are". Providence, RI store courtesy check revealed nail in rear tire. Tire mgr. Joseph stated that nail was too near sidewall and therefore could not be repaired. Tried to sell me 4 tires, then 2, and finally 1 to replace tire with nail in it. Purchase rejected and upon inspection it was found that nail was in... Read more
